Kaohsiung Port Warehouse No.2 is located at Kaohsiung Port's No. 2 Pier. During the Japanese colonial period, it was a single-story warehouse with brick walls and tiled roofs. After being bombed by the Allied forces, it was rebuilt in the 50th year of the Republic of China as a reinforced concrete structure with a steel truss roof. To facilitate the movement of goods, there are no support pillars inside the warehouse. In the 92nd year of the Republic of China, it was declared a historical building by the Kaohsiung City Government. Over the decades, from sugar and goods to passengers arriving on cruise ships, Kaohsiung Port Warehouse No.2 has not only witnessed the changes in Kaohsiung Port but has also opened its arms to embrace the future of the port city.
